The lanyard connects the boater to a switch which kills the ignition circuit if the boater falls overboard, or is at an unsafe distance from the controls. Can be turned on again, if need be, by a boater other than the operator. Can be installed either in boat systems that require a grounded emergency stop, or in systems that have an open circuit emergency stop. Works on any powerboat with an inboard or outboard motor.
